gocco-facettings

The gocco gocco (great cubicuboctahedron)is made by 6 octagrams, 8 triangles and 6 squares. The edges of the gocco can be connected by octagrams (first number), triangles (second number) and squares (third number). Thus 12 polyhedra are built, which are grouped in the following way: 4 pyramidal polyhedra have a 4-fold rotation axis, 2 are 3-fold pyramidal. Three figures have prismatic symmetry. Three polyhedra are cubic. These are quasirhombicuboctahedron (querco), the great rhombihexahedron (groh) and the gocco itself.
